Hi, I’m Liz! I'm a writer, reporter, editor, and brand copywriter based in Brooklyn, New York.
MY WORK HAS APPEARED IN THESE PUBLICATIONS
I've built a career finding the clearest, most compelling way to say things — whether that's a long-form reported piece, a personal essay, or a brand campaign that actually sounds human. I write for major print and digital outlets, and work with brands and individuals to help their content do what good writing does: connect, persuade, enlighten, and bring the brightest ideas to life.
My journalism credits include The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Cut, New York Magazine, Newsweek, Real Simple, ELLE, Harpers Bazaar, with a long-running beat in health, women's health, beauty, and culture. I bring the same reportorial rigor — and readable prose — to my brand work, where clients have included Sephora, Johnson & Johnson, Adidas, Le Creuset, Canyon Ranch, and Midi Health, among others.
I also work with other writers as an editor, helping journalists and essayists sharpen their ideas from pitch through final draft. And for the past several years, I've applied those same skills to college essay coaching — helping high school students cut through the paralysis and write something that actually sounds like them.

Branded Work & Content
You have a voice — you might just need help finding it. I work with brands on copy, content strategy, campaigns, and communications, bringing an editorial eye to everything from website copy to long-form content. I have a journalist's instinct for what's interesting, and an editor's impatience with anything that isn't earning its place on the page.
Writing
Reported features, personal essays, health journalism, culture, beauty, women's health — My beats are health, beauty, and culture — but what I really cover is the stuff people are actually thinking about before they know there's a story there yet. Features and essays for The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Cut, and others.
Editing
Whether you're pitching a story, developing a draft, or stuck somewhere in the middle, I offer substantive, experienced editorial guidance — the kind that helps your ideas land the way you actually intended.
College Essay Editing
Your kid has a story worth telling. I help high school students find it, shape it, and write it in a voice that sounds like them — not like they Googled "how to write a college essay."
